Ancient Acqueduct
Outside the old urban centre of Zabut rise a set of arches built in tuff stone in the style of the ancient Roman aqueducts. They were constructed in 1633 by the Gurleri with the purpose of raising and facilitating the running of water inside the inhabited centre. Unfortunately after the earthquake in 1968, for fear of them collapsing they were largely destroyed. Today only a few arches remain but they are of fundamental importance in the restoration and the reconstruction of the lost features.
