Church of the College of Our Lady of Annunciation

The church dates back to the beginning of the nineteenth century. Not long after, the College, in which the young ladies of Menfi were educated in arts and trade, was built alongside it.

The building that we see today, overlooked by the clock tower, is the result of an attentive restoration project. Inside a fragment of the nineteenth century painting by the Sciacca-born painter Giuseppe Sabella is preserved, modelled on a painting by the renowned master Mariano Rossi.

The east side of the building, used in the past as a school, is still waiting to be restored.
