Municipal Palace
Palace
Cattolica Eraclea (AG)
The palace, which houses the town council, was built
at the height of the Fascist period, between 1932 and 1934, on the ruins of a
previous building. It overlooks Piazza Umberto I, Via Collegio and Via
Amendola. It is characterised by its simple linear neoclassic style and stands
on a base of visible cut limestone blocks. Both the doors and the windows are
square with linear frames and Art Nuoveau
style iron railings.
