Community Centre Auditorium

The Vita community centre, a building dating back to the beginning of the nineteen seventies, lies in Vincenzo Renda park. The structure comprises the Auditorium, with 300 seating places, and the Polivalente Hall. It also houses the public library and the Pro Loco offices on the top floor. At the end of the seventies and beginning of the eighties, the Auditorium hosted a number of great shows, with the participation of the Orchestra and Choir of the Massimo Theatre in Palermo as well as the presence of world famous artists. Other than classical music events, the Auditorium was and is a strong point for both local and non-local theatrical performances and for gatherings of any nature. In February 2015 part of the Auditorium structure was severely damaged by a fire.
