Leone-Daidone Palace
Palace
Vita (TP)
The Palace, built at around the end of the XIX century, constitutes one of the most important buildings in the Historic Centre of Vita, in as much as it represents a significant urban expression of a bourgeoisie land-owner residence. Situated on Corso Garibaldi, it presents an interesting neo-classic façade, symmetrical in relation to the central axis, with three large arched openings, the central one of which is finely crafted. The wrought iron balcony, by ancient local craftsmen, is of remarkable workmanship. The windows of the top floor are finished with wrought iron railings and the two lateral stairways that seamlessly resolve the difference in level between the two streets are of particular interest.
