Fountains
The Municipality of Vita features exquisite fountains located around the town centre. The “Acquanova” fountain, located in Libertà square, dates back to 1928. It has a circular form and stands next to a cabin with a tank for the collection and redistribution of water. It is made entirely in blocks of polished stone. The “Cartipoli” fountain, situated in the Baronia quarter, is among the oldest in Vita. It has a rectangular shape with a length of over 11 metres and is constructed entirely from yellow limestone. The yellow limestone “Ponte” fountain, which is over 7 metres long, sends the water out of two side holes in the wall into two semi-circular stone fountains. The “via Roma” fountain, located on via Roma, is rectangular with a low front wall made from limestone and covered in cement plaster. It is a semi-circular stone fountain with a diameter of 60cm.
