A true edible artistic composition, of which a whole hard-boiled egg is the protagonist, decorated with lace made from flour and/or sugar. It is prepared at Easter, when the egg symbolises the resurrection of Christ, in fact according to tradition it is forbidden to eat the egg before Easter Sunday, when Christ rises again and the egg hatches.
